Pure titanium heat exchangers offer excellent corrosion resistance but come at a higher cost, while all-stainless-steel solutions have limitations in aggressive environments. Xinlei Energy's steel-titanium coaxial heat exchanger combines the exceptional corrosion resistance of titanium with the high strength and cost efficiency of steel – the inner tube uses TA1/Gr2 industrial pure titanium, while the outer tube uses 304/316L stainless steel. This design ensures corrosion resistance on the critical heat exchange surface while effectively controlling overall manufacturing costs, delivering a solution that balances performance and economy for demanding applications.The steel-titanium coaxial heat exchanger features a concentric tube structure, with hot and cold fluids flowing in opposite directions through the inner tube and the annulus of the outer tube. The pure titanium inner tube naturally forms a dense titanium oxide protective film, resulting in virtually zero corrosion in seawater and chlorinated water, with chloride ion resistance exceeding 5,000 ppm – fundamentally eliminating the pitting and perforation issues associated with copper tubes. The stainless steel outer tube provides excellent pressure resistance and structural strength, with a shell pressure rating of 2.1 MPa and successful completion of 100,000 pressure cycling tests. The spiral grooved structure creates a self-cleaning scouring effect that resists scaling and clogging, while the no-blind-spot flow design effectively prevents freezing and scaling, ensuring stable performance under low-temperature conditions and long-term continuous operation. The product can be manufactured in U-shape, coil-shape, straight-line, and other configurations to suit different installation spaces.The product is widely used in swimming pool temperature control, marine aquaculture, shipboard heating and cooling, chemical equipment cooling, seawater desalination, and electroplating bath temperature control, as well as in food and pharmaceutical applications requiring high cleanliness standards. Xinlei Energy relies on fully automated robotic welding and 100% helium leak testing to ensure a welding defect rate below 0.1% and a leak rate below 0.001 g/a.
